1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Funda Lami / Dzidza Neni (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. You confirm this by checking the consent box at sign-up before your account is created — we record that you accepted, and when. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf; for Grade 7 learners specifically, we require a parent/guardian email at sign-up for exactly this reason (see Privacy Policy §10).
2. AI-generated content is not official ZIMSEC material
Tutoring answers, notes, quizzes and practice papers are generated by AI and aligned to the ZIMSEC curriculum to the best of our ability. They are study aids only and are NOT official ZIMSEC materials. Always verify with your teacher and official sources.
3. AI grading is approximate
“Grade My Paper” and timed-assessment grades are AI estimates using ZIMSEC-style marking criteria. They are not official marks and may differ from a human examiner. Do not rely on them for formal assessment.
4. Accounts & acceptable use
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. You may not misuse the Service, attempt to access other users' data, upload unlawful content, or use the Service to bully, spam or harass. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
5. Subscriptions, billing & refunds
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current period. We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of purchase. Payments are processed by Paynow Zimbabwe (EcoCash, OneMoney and card) — we never see or store your mobile money PIN or full card number ourselves.
6. Data & privacy
We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy — including which AI providers we use, when Google Calendar is involved, and how long we keep things — and in line with the Zimbabwe Data Protection Act. You may request access to, export of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@mfundo.co.zw.
7. Optional integrations (Google Calendar)
If you choose to connect Google Calendar from the Study Planner, you're taken through Google's own consent screen and can disconnect at any time from Settings. This is entirely optional and separate from signing in — see Privacy Policy §5 for what that connection can and can't do.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its branding (Funda Lami / Dzidza Neni, Mfundo) and software are owned by Mfundo. Content you create remains yours; you grant us a licence to process it (including sending it to our AI providers, per the Privacy Policy) to provide the Service.
9. Changes & termination
We may update these terms or the Service. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
